John McDonald is a Maine storyteller and the author of three regional best-sellers A Moose and a Lobster Walk Into a Bar; Down the Road A Piece, A Storyteller s Guide to Maine; and The Maine Dictionary. He writes a weekly newspaper column and also hosts a popular weekend talk show on WGAN in Portland.
