About Author
William Blum left the State Department in 1967 because of his opposition to the Vietman War. He then became one of the founders and editors of the Washington Free Press, the first "alternative" newspaper in the capital. He currently lives in Washington, DC, and is also the author of "Rogue State" and "Freeing the World to Death."
