About Author
Carol Matas is an acclaimed author of more than 40 books for children and young adults. Her work covers the gamut of genres, from historical fiction to fantasy, science fiction to contemporary. Her best-selling books have won numerous awards and been published all over the world in more than a dozen languages. Carol hopes that "When I Die" will bring comfort to children of all ages and to their parents. Carol lives in Winnipeg, Canada, with her husband, poet and dramaturge Per K.
