Watchman Nee converted to Christianity in China at the age of seventeen and began writing that same eyar. During more than thirty years of ministry he was a unique gift of the Lord for the Chinese church of his time. In 1952 he was imprisoned for his faith and remained in prison until his death in 1972. His written words remain as a fount of abundant spiritual revelation for Christians around the world.
