Alice Provensen collaborated with her late husband, Martin, on numerous highly acclaimed picture books, including the Caldecott Medal-winning "The Glorious Flight" and Nancy Willard's Newbery Medal-winning "A Visit to William Blake's Inn, " which was also a Caldecott Honor Book.
