Little African Bear is an endearing story for young children. Believing he is African, Little Bear runs to the lion, elephant and giraffe to share his good news. "No bears live in Africa," they say and turn their back on him. Little Bear is disheartened until a silkworm informs him he is made of African silk. Learning this, Little Bear realizes he is, indeed, very special.
