About Author

MONICA BROWN has written several award-winning books for young readers, including the first Marisol book, Marisol McDonald Doesn't Match/Marisol McDonald no combina. Marisol is inspired by Brown's own mixed heritage, which includes Peruvian, Scottish, Spanish, Amerindian, and Jewish ancestry.
