About Author
Martin Walker is the chief international correspondent for United Press International. Previously, he worked for twenty-five years with the London newspaper the "Guardian", where he served as bureau chief in Moscow and the United States and as European editor. He is a regular broadcaster on the BBC, National Public Radio, and CNN and has appeared as a panelist on "Inside Washington" and "Capitol Gang Sunday".
