Do you have a narcissist, sociopath, or psychopath in your life, or think that you might?Do you continually feel anxious around someone in your life, but can't pinpoint why?Do conversations seem to go off track, leaving you feeling knocked off balance and confused?Does it feel like they are making your life a living hell, but they insist that you are too sensitive, crazy, or to blame?Perhaps you know you are being manipulated or abused, but don't know how to make it stop. The Narcissist's Playbook can help. Dana Morningstar is a domestic violence advocate, author, podcaster, YouTuber, speaker, and group leader. She writes from personal as well as professional experience in the field of domestic violence awareness, narcissistic abuse, and advocacy. Some of the topics covered in The Narcissist's Playbook are: -What manipulation is and isn't.-How to spot manipulative behaviors early (and why most people struggle with this).-How and why people get caught up with manipulators, and why they have a hard time breaking free.-How to identify the emotional hook that is keeping you stuck in manipulation and what you can do about it.- How to effectively disable manipulation as it is happening. - How to identify the common personality traits that are frequently exploited by manipulators. You can take back your life. The Narcissist's Playbook tells you how.
If you've been manipulated, then odds are you are having a hard time figuring out who has the problem, what is normal compared to what is problematic, and if your wants, needs, and feelings are valid. This confusion is often caused by what is known as the FOG. The disastrous effects of being lost in the FOG are confusion, crazymaking, people pleasing, an erosion of boundaries, and the ultimate loss of self. The FOG is an acronym that stands for Fear, Obligation, and Guilt. These three emotions are often at the core of manipulation and are often how narcissists, sociopaths, and other types of emotional manipulators go about controlling their targets. However, this type of destructive manipulation isn't just limited to narcissists and sociopaths. What makes this well-intended bad advice so damaging is that, on the surface, it seems like good advice--especially if it's coming from people who seem to have our best interests in mind, such as friends, family, church members, support group members, spiritual advisors, or therapists.
Some of the concepts covered are:
Who are You to Judge vs. Being Discerning
No One is Perfect vs. Tolerating Abuse
Commitment vs. Codependency
Self-love vs. Selfishness
A Person Acting the Part vs. A Person Actually Changing
A Friend vs. Someone Being Friendly
Being in Love With Them vs. Being in Love With Who They Pretended to Be
Workable Behavior vs. Deal Breakers
Acceptance vs. Allowance
Going Through So Much Together vs. Being Put Through So Much By Them
Sincerity vs. Intensity
Healthy Bonding vs. Trauma Bonding
Insincere Remorse vs. Sincere Remorse
...and many more.
After three short months in 2017 serving on the National Security Council under President's Trump National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, Rich was fired for telling the truth. He sounded the alarm on the Deep State coup to remove President Trump and of the subversives within the ranks. Rich set it all down in his famous memo - POTUS and Political Warfare. And for this, he paid for it with his job.
At the time, Rich was labeled as a conspiracy theorist but as events played out over the following three years, Rich has been fully vindicated.
The Memo is the riveting story of how Rich Higgins' twenty year career fighting for America First within the bowels of the DoD and Pentagon bureaucracy enabled him to discern - well before anyone else - the Deep State's efforts to stop and ultimately remove the President from office. No one was more bold - or more frighteningly accurate - in anticipating the ferocity of the Deep State's assault on the Constitution and President Trump.

A MUST READ for anyone interested in the scientific treatment of consciousness. David Rosenthal, CUNY
The works of Bernard Baars collected here are among the foundational texts of the scientific study of consciousness. Their influence in cognitive science and philosophy of mind is enormous, and their impact on my own thinking has been profound. Murray Shanahan, DeepMind
Bernard Baars' Global Workspace Theory (GWT) is a theory of human cognitive architecture, the cortex, and consciousness. GWT is a widely used framework for the role of conscious and unconscious events in the functioning of the brain. Global Workspace Dynamics (GWD) is the most current version of GWT - attempting to account for complexities of the living brain.
These updated works, from the recipient of INNS 2019 Hermann von Helmholtz Life Contribution Award for paradigm changing, long lasting influence and impact in perception:
Throughout human history, people have perceived the conscious brain as the great nexus of human life, of social relationships, of their personal identities and histories, in encounters with new challenges. Consciousness under its many labels and manifestations is widely seen to be one of the core mysteries of life.
Making progress in understanding consciousness has a vast number of implications - philosophical, metaphysical, scientific, clinical, and practical. Many therapeutic approaches can be viewed in a Global Workspace framework, including:
BRILLIANT! Deepak Chopra, MD
A magnificent achievement! Pat Churchland, UCSD
Baars is a giant on whose shoulders the future science of consciousness will stand. Antti Revonsuo, Cognitive Neuroscientist

In this first book of the Indigenous and Ethnic Culture series, readers are transported to Tanzania, Africa, to experience a day in the life of Naserian, a young Maasai girl. The story follows Naserian, a young Maasai girl as she makes the lengthy and potentially perilous journey across the Tanzania grasslands to her school. Her family wants one thing for her, but she has other dreams. The series is intended to provide a glimpse into the life of minority cultures from different parts of the world and how such cultures are forced to adapt to survive in a world that threatens to leave them behind. The Maasai are a semi-nomadic group of people who are found in Kenya and Tanzania. Traditionally, herding livestock is very important for the Maasai way of life. Livestock products are sold and traded for needed goods such as grain and charcoal. It is also the means by which some Maasai parents pay for school uniforms and school fees. Changes in the world are forcing many Maasai to adjust their way of life in order to survive. Many Maasai have turned to small-scale farming where they grow maize and other crops to supplement their pastoral diet of milk, meat, and blood. Some Maasai go on to look for work in the city and live a more modern life in contrast to their traditional rural lifestyle.
In this second book of the Indigenous and Ethnic Culture series, readers meet Davaajargal and Bayandalai, two young Dukha children and their family as they navigate life as nomadic reindeer herders in the northern forests of Mongolia. This series is intended to provide a glimpse into the life of minority cultures from different parts of the world.

The other students, all of whom were decades younger than David, could tell he was different―he had money. This contrasted heavily with their own financial struggles as they studied to be auto techs. An honest portrayal of courage as he describes his transformation from successful lawyer to auto technician.
A look into the financial challenges faced by technicians in the auto industry, many of whom start their careers with little or no money.
Hard truths about life, learning, and getting outside of your comfort zone.

Everybody knows The Nobody because at Times Square anybody can be a star.
If you have a story to tell, a song to sing or a gift to share, there is no other showcase place on the planet like New York City. If you want to see the world but lack the means, just come to New York City and you can watch parades of all humanity. If you want to climb to the summit and reach civilization's peak, New York City is where you need to be.
In the hustle and bustle of Broadway, far below the brilliant billboards, underneath the star-studded marques, at the glass towers' bell hopping feet in the frenzy of all the action of New York City, The Nobody stands before the world with nothing more than a song and he sings, gloriously.
The Nobody combines photographs with poetry and prose to tell the story of a humble street performer. This story is spoken in the poet's voice, not from the page, but in the city where he draws his inspiration.
This poet's venue is right on the avenue. His stage is on the curb of the street. With his little book stand, he can move the world as his lilting songs touch the tender ears of the people passing in the shuffling traffic. In the cacophony of boisterous noise, The Nobody's exhaustless voice drips sweet music into the rush of this relentless river.
Few in the media have followed Antifa more closely - and have the scars to prove it - than journalist Jack Posobiec.
From infiltrating their 2016 meetings where they planned their attack on Trump's inauguration to going undercover in Seattle's CHAZ in 2020, Posobiec has never backed down from exposing the true nature of Antifa.
In The Antifa, Posobiec uncovers the secret history of this radical anarchist group, while integrating his personal encounters with some of its most hardcore and violent members. While until recently few Americans were aware of Antifa's existence, Posobiec shows that, in fact, it is part of a violent revolutionary tradition that dates back more than a hundred years.
Like its predecessors, most recently including the Weathermen terrorists of the 1960's, it is driven by an overriding aim: the overthrow of the existing political order and capitalism itself, and replacing it with a communist state.
Antifa saw and seized its chance in 2020. Because it was not brought to heel - indeed, was encouraged in its violent mayhem by sympathetic city and state governments -- it now looms as a greater threat than ever before. In fact, as Posobiec shows, Antifa is today better positioned than were any of its radical forebears to actually achieve its goal.
