Thirty years after the initial discovery of Roscoe White's naval footlocker, Ricky White - with the help of J. Gary Shaw and Brian K. Edwards - has made documented connection between items in the footlocker and munitions cannister and the events and people surrounding Dealey Plaza. The mysterious documents shed new light on strange, heretofore not known, deaths in the assassination aftermath.
Shaw, Edwards and White reveal extensive, documented evidence regarding Roscoe White's involvement in the JFK assassination; namely, that he was the shooter from behind the picket fence in Dealey Plaza's grassy knoll. After 30+ years of research, discovered artifacts reveal Roscoe White's life-long connection with the military industrial complex and the CIA as a professional assassin.
In a handwritten notation in his Bible, dated March 10, 1955, at 3:40 a.m., Dr. T.V. Corky Farris wrote: Over this Bible I surrender my all and claim the anointing of God's Spirit. With these words written as a seminary student, Dr. Farris embarked on a life of service and ministry that had actually begun as a college student at Baylor University. Over the next 38 years, his ministry included pastorates in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas; the mission field of Japan; serving with the Evangelism Division of the Baptist General Convention of Texas; and finally Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, where he served as Chairman of the Department of Hebrew and Old Testament. The sermons in this volume, compiled and edited by his son, are but a select few of the hundreds he preached over the years.
John Andrew Gallery is a Quaker who draws inspiration from a wide variety of spiritual sources, and from many not normally considered spiritual at all. During the past twenty-four years he has written short reflections and longer essays that begin with his personal experiences then expand into thoughtful connections with the teachings of Jesus, Buddha, Marcus Aurelius, Thomas Merton, Leonard Cohen, and many others. Of the 56 reflections and essays in Alone with God, almost half are published here for the first time.
John began writing short reflections while participating in a prayer vigil for peace on Sunday afternoons in Philadelphia. Later at night, he sat in his apartment reflecting on the experiences of the day-his encounters with strangers during the vigil, or things he saw or heard. In a moving passage he writes: I sat in a pool of light in that darkness, seemingly alone but not alone. There was another presence that was the source of the words that came to me. The result was poetic prose exploring various aspects of prayer and peace.
Twenty years later he had a similar experience while in self-isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sitting in his apartment, once again he felt he was not alone. God was present again and prepared to use other instruments to bring the words I needed to hear and to share. Books, statues, music, glimpses of nature became the starting point of thought-provoking reflections on such topics as the uncertainty of faith, the myth of Sisyphus, the life of the Spirit, and the death of friends.
In between those experiences and after 2020, random events in his daily life or suggestions from others, led to longer essays on the spiritual dimensions of temptation, forgiveness, fatherly love, and even the hidden spiritual messages found in certain films.
Although rooted in John's personal experiences, the reflections and essays in Alone with God touch on such a wide range of themes and connect with so many different spiritual teachings and traditions that, whether readers are seeking to deepen their own spiritual journeys or simply find inspiration in unexpected places, Alone with God offers spiritual nourishment, regardless of one's own spiritual orientation.
For Patrick Doyle, the claim that time heals all wounds is a cruel lie.
In 1920, returning from WWI, Paddy finds Ireland creeping toward civil war. Invisible borders separate people, including Paddy and his pregnant girlfriend. With few prospects, Paddy sails to America. However, America is far from the land of opportunity he'd hoped for. And worse, his girl refuses to follow him because of her political involvement.
Thirty years later, Patrick has moved on with his life, building a new family. A letter arrives, suggesting the child he'd assumed died may be alive. Patrick's American daughter Mardell pushes him to find out what happened to her sister, named Juniper. Patrick anxiously sails to Ireland.
Juniper endured a childhood in institutions, and when she's released, she moves on without the parents who left her. Operating an apothecary out of an inherited cottage where villagers are slow to trust outsiders, Juniper finally finds a home when her grandmother arrives. Just as she feels comfortable and content, her father shows up at her door, bringing shocking news about her mother.
Through memories of war, surviving the Great Depression, enduring prejudice, and fighting loneliness, Finding Juniper invites readers on a journey of confronting the past, healing from old traumas, and redefining what family truly means.

Going from childhood to adolescence is a trip.
Set in Baltimore during the mid-to-late '70s, Kizmic's Journey tells the humorous, warm-hearted story of Kizmic Waters, a tough, fun-loving tomboy who does not want to grow up. From sunup 'til the streetlights come on, Kizmic spends her days hanging out in her Charm City neighborhood, going from one adventure to another, living a childhood Peter Pan would envy. Then one morning, puberty sneaks up on her like the Grim Reaper. Not a girl to simply lie down and give up the ghost, Kizmic embarks on a sentimental journey to live out the end of her childhood on her terms.
Written in the tradition of Paule Marshall's Brown Girl, Brownstones, Judy Blume's Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, and Jamaica Kincaids's Annie John, Kizmic's Journey explores the struggles inherent in that strangely wonderful yet confusing, lonely, terrifying, and painful transition from childhood to adolescence. As touching as Spike Lee's Crooklyn, bestselling author Odessa Rose delivers a classic coming-of-age tale that takes us back to the days when the lively shouts of kids playing outdoors filled the air, Thunderbirds and punch buggies cruised through the streets, Huskies and German Shepherds were man's best friend, and neighbors looked out for one another.

Heidi Hoover-star reporter of The Daily Pilot and good friend of The Mystery Searchers-opens a letter addressed to the World's Best Reporter. Inside is an intriguing four-line poem, a quatrain, that reads:
Search for a crime on Dead Man's Pass,
A secret run at the midnight hour.
But beware of a dangerous few,
Engaged beside the granite tower.
Wow! Who could have sent the letter? And why? Is it real-or fake? Time for a winter visit to the dangerous canyon badlands of Dead Man's Pass. The Mystery Searchers take on another mystery with their good friend, Heidi. What a way to spend New Year's Eve!
Interview with the author
Q - What makes The Mystery Searchers Family Book Series so special?
It's a mix of things, really. When I started the series, I wanted to integrate the things that I liked as a 10-15 year-old. . . from the 4th or 5th grade all the way into junior high school. I loved mystery books which lead, often, to mystery solving, crime and detective stories, and action and adventure. So I would devour books like the Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, or Enid Blyton's The Famous Five series. I quickly realized that clean, wholesome books were important too, and I've integrated that concept in every Mystery Searchers installment.
Q - What order should I read the books in?
I've written the series so that you can read them in any order. By the time you finish any one of the books, all the threads will come together.
Q - Are there more installments coming in the series?
None currently planned, but there ARE twelve exciting books in the series to enjoy.
Q - Does the author offer any other clean, wholesome books for this age group?
Yes! The first installment of The Time Travelers Series will be released in July, 2023.

Big Ish
There are men that walk this earth going mostly unnoticed and living peaceful lives while raising families, who slowly fade away when their time comes to an end as they breathe a final breath.
Then there are those few that cannot go unnoticed, who no matter where they go, cast shadows so large and dark, that even if they wanted to hide, they could not. Nothing is balanced for them, and no one around them would feel safe if they dared to cross them.
Ishmael Heald was one of those men, who despite wanting to do right by others, never seemed to be able to. He fought with the force of three ferocious men and consumed enough alcohol to kill a normal human, all while existing in a life that seemed more fiction than an actual reality.
The loss of so much throughout his time and a constant battle from within that felt like the devil eating him away, filled his story with lessons that would last well beyond his death for this steel worker.
