Master con artist Max Stone, along with partners in crime Simon Jefferies, Mike Scott and their newest member, Jamie Paige, executed a two-part con on Bank executive Joseph Perkins. With the first part completed, Max presented Jamie with a gold chain along with a blue polished stone engraved with a feather within a circle - a symbol they all shared. This symbol welcoming her into the family, causing Robert Ayre, Jamie's fiancé to become uneasy with their growing closeness.
As the second part of the con was about to unfold, Jamie was nowhere to be found. Thinking quickly, Max managed to execute the second part successfully. They later discovered that Jamie was arrest for the murder of her fiancé, Robert, through a car bomb. Her image as a murdering con artist was widely publicized.
