Come on a family beach trip with a girl and her family as she swims in the waves, builds sandcastles, learns to keep the ocean clear of trash--and develops a bond with the sea.
On a family beach trip, an excited young swimmer rushes to the water as her dad cautions her to respect the sea. As she swims in the waves and builds sandcastles onshore, she shares valuable lessons on responsibility that she learned from her best friend, the sea.
As she explores ancient sea caves and glimpses amazing creatures just beyond the waves, she reminds us all that caring for and respecting the sea also means keeping it clear of trash and pollution. As the day closes on another successful beach adventure, she waves farewell to her friend and promises to return tomorrow.
My Dear Sea is a love letter to the sea and all it holds, with pages full of jewel-toned illustrations in pastels depicting beach scenes and marine surprises. Rhyming lines reveal important lessons all beachgoers should know about the ocean's importance and its conservation, making for a perfect classroom STEAM read-aloud and beach-lover's reading gift.

It is my goal to assist every reader to have a better understanding of their call and purpose, as well as a basic plan to activate behavior toward the goals. Therefore, I am going to use the analogy of reading a blueprint to the steps of identifying and clarifying your destiny. In essence, I am seeking a measuring tool to assist people to mapping out their destiny.
To accomplish this there are seven important and common steps to reading a blueprint. After working through this steps, you will be able to write your own BLUEPRINNT FOR YOUR DESTINY! I have had the privilege of teaching in over 40 nations on the topics of fivefold ministry and discovering destiny. Along the way, I would said, The fivefold is not the building, it is like a blueprint. God has designed you perfectly, don't you want to know what that looks like? This is my motivation for writing Blueprint For Your Destiny. More than that, it is vital to know how to put this understanding into practice. My intention is that this book will be used as a step by step guide for discipleship and coming into the fullness of Christ. Welcome to the journey!
This keepsake book contains a collection of lived out stories written by care givers, revealing a personal or professional truth - exemplars of the Watson 10 Caritas Processes(R) which is the core of the Theory of Human Caring.
'I hope the caring moments described in this book will inspire and encourage readers as they travel their own unique caring paths.' Kathleen Sitzman, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF, FAAN
'These stories cross and transcend cultures, roles, professions, borders and boundaries in locations around the world. The Caritas stories and shared experiences unite us in our humanity, across time and space, congruent with an online virtual world of today, whereby space connects, rather than separates.' Jean Watson, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, FAAN, LL (AAN)
The collection in this book originated from participants taking a free online course entitled 'Caring Science Mindful Practice' facilitated by Kathleen Sitzman.
In 2015 when I offered the first Caring Science, Mindful Practice Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), I didn't know if anyone would come, or if anyone would want to share Caritas moments from their own experiences in a public forum. Through the process of teaching this course, I have learned that people in nursing, allied health, and beyond; experience support, companionship, fulfillment, validation, encouragement, and inspiration through sharing their own unique Caritas moments and reading those of others within this global caring community that continues to grow each time the course is offered. I hope the caring moments described in this book will inspire and encourage readers as they travel their own unique caring paths.
