As a practitioner, you understand the importance of ensuring the best outcomes for your clients. However, traditional maternity care often overlooks in-depth education on lab analysis, leaving practitioners ill-equipped.
Beyond Results: The Practitioner's Guide to Functional Lab Analysis in Pregnancy decodes critical nutritional and functional lab patterns often missed in traditional maternity care. This practical guide draws from current and emerging research to give practitioners the skills to feel confident in their understanding of maternal physiology and its effects on blood chemistry.
Inside these pages, you'll learn how to...
From understanding the effects of maternal physiology on reference ranges to developing treatment plans centered on diet and lifestyle, this book will help you transform your practice and bridge the gap between conventional and functional medicine in patient care.
Psilocybin Mushrooms (aka, magic mushrooms or shrooms) are fungi containing psilocybin, a psychedelic compound that occurs naturally. More than 180 mushroom species contain psilocybin, or its psilocybin derivative.
Psilocybin Mushrooms have a long history of spiritual and religious use in Mesoamerican rituals and are among the most common recreational psychedelics in the United States and Europe.
Some researchers are beginning to theorize that many of the beneficial effects of psilocybin on mental healthconditions can be attributed to its ability to reset a control system within the brain. Once overactive the Default Mode Network (DMN) was linked to depression and other mood disorders. It has been shown that psilocybin dramatically reduces DMN activity which has recently been related to its anti-depressant effects.
Some states of USA are finally realizing the potential of these natural products. There are numerous active and functional legal defenses regarding psilocybin which is and remains a natural element of our world. The decriminalization proceeds at a brisk pace. In any case, knowledge has no limits.
When you cultivate Magic Mushrooms, you will do so indoors. But have you ever considered developing outdoor mycelium too? This can have a number of advantages when growing mushrooms in your backyard or a similar area outdoors. You could expand the supply of shrooms for an entire year, and it'll be less costly!
It isn't particularly difficult to grow magic mushrooms, especially if you grow your shrooms with a fully equipped grow kit. But if you want to grow shrooms from spores, there can be a learning curve, and a little more research may be needed. If you cultivate mushrooms, one of the main concerns is to prevent mold contamination.
In this book, you will learn:
Your current level of knowledge is not important. This book does not require any type of previous experience regarding hallucinogenic mushrooms and will accompany you to discover them. You will learn from the basics of hallucinogenic mushroom theory to a more advanced level.
It is time for you to explored additional uses and powers of this delicate gift from nature! If you want to learn about blood draws, lab work, panels, plasma, tests, and the profession of a phlebotomist, then check out HowExpert Guide to Phlebotomy.
HowExpert Guide to Phlebotomy is a glimpse into the life of being a phlebotomist in a private clinic, hospital, or plasma plant. It includes an in-depth description of the types of patients we see, the equipment we use, and how to perform blood draws. The most important part of our profession is drawing blood by inflicting the least amount of pain possible for the patient. This means that you need to be educated on the procedures for specific tests such as a Heparin Quant Assay, a PTINR, and Lipid Panels. If you don't know these tests, odds are they will need to be redrawn, and the patient will have to undergo an unnecessary procedure. This is a safety problem since every time we puncture the skin of a patient, we risk introducing infection into their bloodstream. This book will also teach you about the order of draw, descriptions of veins, descriptions of patients, and a multitude of different scenarios. If you are beginning a career or are interested in beginning a career in phlebotomy, this book will give you a good foundation of knowledge to build upon with tangible experience.
