How does one walk out of one identity and into another?
Dennis Jernigan gets that question a lot. Walking out of a homosexual identity in 1981 and living life since then in a brand new identity-a new creation in Christ-you can imagine the curiosity such a life might produce. Dennis set out to answer this question, and in so doing, the book Renewing Your Mind was born.
At one time, Dennis felt attracted to other men. When he began to replace the lies concerning himself with the truth of God's Word, something close to miraculous began to take place: his feelings began to change What Dennis has discovered is that the main battle of his life is the mental battle of discovering his true identity according to God's Word. In the process of seeking God relationally, Dennis discovered the power of God's Word to transform his mind. Two specific passages gave him strength to pursue God for a change in his thinking, and the end result is a brand new identity not defined by feelings, temptations, circumstances, other people or groups, or even himself. Dennis Jernigan is defined by his Maker.

What would you do with your last sixty seconds?
Jake was a hero. At least, that's what the people around him said. In his thirty years, he'd been through hell, but he'd survived. Thrived, even. And had the loving wife, beautiful children, and dream job to prove it.
Today, Jake would board his first-ever flight, eat a steak dripping in butter, and present at a prestigious conference. It was one of those days that seemed too good to be true.
Because it was.
Something went wrong. And Jake's past caught up with him.
If you loved Wm. Paul Young's The Shack, you'll enjoy this heart-gripping, edge-of-your-seat novella.

For over a decade, Dennis Jernigan has been writing a Christian devotion every day. He writes them for himself. To speak the truth louder than the lies of the enemy. To see the Kingdom perspective beyond the circumstances of life. To worship the One who deserves all praise.
He also writes these devotions to share with you. So that you may be encouraged when all seems hopeless. So that you may be reminded of who Father says you are. So that you may choose to walk in truth, rather than in the chains of despair the enemy wants to keep you in.
This third volume of Daily Devotions for Kingdom Seekers features 365 reflections to accompany you throughout the year. Paired with songs penned by Jernigan himself, this year of devotions is sure to encourage any soul seeking to know Jesus better.

With so many new foes to face and puzzles within puzzles to solve, the Jennings kids must stay united for the King's life to be spared.

Author Dennis Jernigan lives with Parkinson's disease. In his fantasy series, The Bairns of Bren, his grandchildren are the heroes of these epic stories. In writing The Puzzle, it was his desire to teach his grandchildren, through allegory, how to face their grandfather's illness and how to find joy in even the most difficult times of life.
Over 30 years as an internationally-acclaimed songwriter and worship leader, Dennis Jernigan has seen the world and led untold thousands of believers to lift up the name of Jesus in praise. His songs are sung by churches across the planet. In The Middle of Nowhere, Jernigan, for the first time in print, tells the whole story of how deliverance from same-sex attraction launched both his career and a life of hardship. Decades of threats to his ministry and his family. Friends falling away. Crushing personal losses. And now, Parkinson's disease. Through it all, Jernigan has come to know without a doubt that Jesus loves him, knows him intimately, sings over him, and walks with him...even in the middle of nowhere.
