Ancient Kabbalistic mysticism and the search for meaning by looking to the stars are related in ways that may surprise readers. Kabbalah, in fact, offers arguably the oldest and wisest application of astronomy and astrology known to humankind. Kabbalistic Astrology is a tool for understanding one's individual nature at its deepest level and putting that knowledge to immediate use in the real world. A natural addition to Berg's many writings on spirituality, the book explains why destiny is not the same as predestination and shows that we have many possible futures and can become masters of our fate. Written in Berg's trademark clear, intelligible style, the book teaches how to discover challenges faced in previous incarnations and how to overcome them, as well as the secrets to finding the love, success, and spiritual fulfillment.

Wheels of a Soul is the book about reincarnation for 21st century readers. Here Rav Berg shows how an absolutely fundamental human precept -- that we have been here before, and that we will return here again until we get it right -- was for centuries either suppressed or ignored by religious and secular authorities. This is not just another New Age tract on crossing over to the other side. This is the rediscovery of a principle that explains the reality we experience every day.
In a brilliant explanation of reincarnation for the modern reader, Rav Berg draws on basic Kabbalistic sources such as the Bible and the Zohar.
This is a revolutionary concept and Rav Berg presents it with exquisite clarity. In doing so, he answers questions that have compelled humankind for centuries: For what purpose are we in the world -- and how can we find the soul mate that will help us fulfill that purpose? Have we been here before -- and how can today's events illuminate past lifetimes? What is the true meaning of fate -- and how can we control fate through the power of our own free will?
According to the Zohar, among God's first creations were the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Kabbalah teaches that the alphabet, called ivrit in Hebrew, comes from the root word lavir, or to transfer. Far more than simple symbols of communication, the letters transfer energy from the Light of God into the physical world. The story of the letters as they pleaded their respective cases for the primary role in God's creative process is the blueprint by which Creation was made possible. In his new book, Rav Berg reveals the spiritual meaning and history of each of the 22 letters: how and why each was created, and what energy it transmits. Berg uses quantum physics to illustrate this bedrock of Kabbalah, proving that this truly is a time when physicists and metaphysicists are joining hands and minds.
Public interest in the connection between science and religion has recently become very high, but the subject has long been studied by Kabbalists. Years before nano entered the vernacular as an abbreviation for nanotechnology - which essentially means less is more rather than the bigger, the better - Rav Berg was speaking and writing about this scientific concept in spiritual terms. And although the concept that less physicality can produce more power was only a recent discovery by scientists, it's something that Kabbalists have known throughout the ages. In his first new book in many years, Berg examines this idea in depth. He contends that space will continue to shrink until there is nothing between humans and the world around them, lending support to the notion that we are all one - and by extension, to the credo love thy neighbor as thyself.
The Book of Bamidbar is the fourth book of the Five Books of Moses. Volume 8 of Path to the Light includes Rav Berg's commentary on the portions of: Bamidbar, Naso, Beha'alotcha, Shlach Lecha, and Korach. These portions are not the intrigues of a nation, but instead describe the energetic machinations of the physical world: how, where, and when to capture energy; how to navigate and transform darkness into Light; how to protect ourselves from danger as well as know where it lurks; and ultimately how to garner the force to win the ultimate war against our own limitations and self-destructive temptations. Rav Berg tells us again and again that the Bible is not a history book nor is it an allegory of our lives; the Torah is an arsenal of spiritual tools: specific letters and sequences that provide us with the spiritual energy to fortify and strengthen our spiritual work in this dimension of life. This understanding and wisdom about the metaphysical nature of the universe was once only known by a few kabbalists throughout history. Now, because of the efforts and teachings of Rav Berg-as he removes the covering that kept the Bible and its tools concealed for centuries-each and every person can fulfill their destiny and achieve a life of happiness and mastery over the physical terrain.
On a literal story level, the Book of Vayikra reveals the laws of living a pure and holy life. We read about the building of a Tabernacle in the wilderness, the different sacrificial offerings; the Priestly garments and roles, knowing what to eat and what is unfit; and what relationships are forbidden. The holidays of Passover, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot are also mentioned, as is the Jubilee Year, the Shabbat, and the Sabbatical Year. However, Rav Berg reminds us that the purpose of the Bible is not religion, instead the Bible is a code that describes the spiritual machinations of this physical world. He says:
The essential reason of sacrifice is not to appease God but to cleanse ourselves; to clean ourselves of corrupted DNA that we brought upon ourselves.
In Volume 9 of Path to the Light, Rav Berg illuminates the spiritual lessons and wisdom found in the last five portions of Bamidbar: Chukat, Balak, PInchas, Matot, and Masei. The drama of the departure from Mount Sinai and the journey through the wilderness continues in these portions, up to the moment that the children of Israel arrive at the outskirts of the Promised Land.
From the story of the generation that left Egypt, we receive the means to retrieve our gift. As RavBerg tells us, When a person understands and uses the technology of the Bible, even if everything and everyone is wild all around us, as was the case in the wilderness, we can still receive the Light as a gift.
