On November 13, 2015, Mike wrote: It is our job to get up each and every day and tell the truth. The fact that people are not listening does not absolve us of our responsibility. The one who refuses to speak and the one who refuses to listen will be judged alike.

About the Author
David Adams works as a police officer in Sonoma County and has always wanted to write a children's book. He works closely with firefighters and knows how important they are in our communities. He has two daughters to whom he loves reading books and a wife who helped support him through the police academy and with making this book.
While this book is a work of fiction it is inspired by real abuse cases, known paedophiles, and Police procedures deployed in the ongoing battle against this growing evil. The latter part of my professional career saw my work in the Child Safety sector. This provides me and now you the Reader with both authentic cases, insights and experiences. The book provides glimpses into both the mind of the paedophile and that of the victim as a child and then later as an adult. Naturally, I have changed names, places, and some details to avoid identifying all parties and causing any further pain to the victims and their families.

Set within a wider British and international context of post-war reconstruction, The Everyday Experiences of Reconstruction and Regeneration focuses on such debates and experiences in Birmingham and Coventry as they recovered from Second World War bombings and post-war industrial collapse.
Including numerous images, Adams and Larkham explore the initial development of the post-Second World War reconstruction projects, which so substantially changed the face of the cities and provided radical new identities. Exploring these cities throughout the post-war period brings into sharp focus the duality of contemporary approaches to regeneration, which often criticise mid-twentieth century 'poorly-conceived' planning and architectural projects for producing inhuman and unsympathetic schemes, while proposing exactly the type of large-scale regeneration that may potentially create similar issues in the future.
This book would be beneficial for academics and students of planning and urban design, particularly those with an interest in post-catastrophe or large-scale reconstruction projects within cities.
All Steve Wallace wanted was to be left alone, but his war-torn past was about to catch up with him. Was he havingt another painful flashback, or were the two Taliban soldiers he had just killed really here in rural western Queensland. He had no way of knowing he had just stumbled on one of the most sophisticated terror networks Australia has ever seen. For the first time since 1915, Australia is under attack from Islamic terrorists on home soil. Does Australia have the answers, the resources or the resolve to fight against these attacks, or will more innocent men, women and children die? Can Steve Wallace convince the Australian National Security Centre that his discovery is not some Jack Daniel's fuelled PTSD hallucination? The reluctant hero finds himself drawn back into what he had worked so hard to escape.
